Since I don't want to clog the main Sharing Request Thread with all the updates I'm posting my edited out Girls Frontline 2 cards here.

The point of edits is to make them as close to the GF2 models as it's possible, but with focus on getting the body proportions right and then the colors and other stuff.

As an example

All these cards can be quite performance heavy since I use KKUTS_Tess and xukmi Tess shaders in some cases (to fix the clipping issues, or for the fluff effect or improve how the body looks like).

The list of the used mods or textures is in the credits.txt in each zip file.

Password to all files: gf2

If you have any of the used there mods then it's very recommended to replace them with these included here since there were some fixes to meshes in a few cases (so messed up hair's "normals" or on clothes as well etc.)

Based on the juedge's zipmods
(both use a little bit changed zipmods compared to the original ones, so it's recommended to replace existing ones if you have them)

Changes:

Vepley, Sharkry, Lainie
- Changed the face texture a little bit (I updated two of them some time ago, but didn't post anything about changes)

Suomi / Papasha
- Fixed shading (normal map changes) on one of the swimming suit outfits

Papasha
- Fixed the issue with the eyes being rendered in a wrong way through the hair (still far from perfect because of the less than perfect headmod)

Other:
- Some adjustments to the blushing texture in the majority of cards (except for Suomi, Papasha and for some reason it doesn't want to work with Sharkry's headmod either)
- Changed the waist area in all cards, I noticed that there were some huge issues when each of edited out cards was in sitting pose (or something similar) in Studio, should be fixed now (editing cf_s_waist02's vertical scale is a bad idea).
- Fixed weird looking legs while the character is in sitting pose, should look less weird now, all cards were updated
- Improvements to the upper torso, decreased the thickness in a few spots to make it closer to the original models from GFL2, there are also a few changes to the shoulders and arms position, all cards were updated
- Fixed Papasha's hair issue with the render queue

tl:dr
All cards should look better when toggling between poses, they are more "Studio-friendly"

I'll probably upload another card in around 1-2 weeks

It's based on Juedge's mods and it's really not easy to get some outfit parts look correct while keeping the body proportions like in the GF2, so for example if I just go for correct proportions it will mess up some parts like the red scarf, so I had to figure out some middle ground.
There were the same issues with the other outfit, especially the neck area.

Obviously what you see on the images is very much "work in progress"



I'll probably need to change the outfit colors as well since these are not really 100% correct in a few cases

As a comparison there's the original Juedge's card


I also tried to improve the Suomi card and a few of her outfits around the neck, so I had to make it less accurate to the GF2 model, but it still looks very well:


Papasha also got some improvements, so a few adjustments to the clothes etc.

I'll upload them all at the same time once I'm done with the Sakura card

Added the Sakura card to the first post.

Based on Juedge's zipmod, but with completely different body proportions to match the ingame model and color adjustements (not perfect since the game uses many different color filters in the dorm and refitting room and crew deck).

For the face and hair color this was the main reference since it doesn't seem to have any filters applied:

The Juedge's zipmod is most likely the 3d model from the older game version since it doesn't really much the one from the international version, but I still tried to make it quite close to the original, though in some cases I kept the older colors.
Honestly I have no idea where from is that outfit model since the one here seems to match the ingame one:

Same about the one from the official Chinese website.

Overall the card is far from perfect.

Recent HF Patch is for sure required to use this one since I applied many clothes as accessories to fix some issues or make some improvised "shifted" state for the legwear.

It's a shame you can't apply the same shader and lighting in Koikatsu Studio as in GIRLS' FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM. I really don't like the transparency in the shoes of the new Groza (OTs-14) skin in that mod made by judge.

About the shader and lighting stuff, you probably could if you played with PostProcessingEffects mod and xukmi shaders in the Studio, so these:
And then combine that with the default Studio's options as well (so Shade and Shade 2 from Color Adjustments etc.)
But that would be a lot of work.

About that new Groza mod, show the picture of the issue, maybe I'll be able to help, or give me the link to the mod if it was shared on this forum somewhere.

I checked the Juedge's pixiv and then a video showing how it looks like in GF2 and yeah, it's a mess, but for sure can be improved to make it look like in the game.

I noticed that there's an issue with all the legwear related clothes, so I'll most likely be fixing them soon.
Basically the problem exists because I applied KKUTS_Tess to the body of every card (so it's much smoother), then used xukmi shaders for some clothes, but I didn't really realize that in some cases it can cause this, so I tried to recreate what I did with xukmi shader by using KKUTS_Tess for clothes.

So here's the problem (xukmi shader):

Actually I think it will look better than the xukmi shader.

Hey. Have you seen the new cards from Roast Duck yet? Do you think you could improve the “Groza in a Dress” card? It's WAY better than the Judge's version, of course, but compared to the MMD model, it's still missing something, in my opinion. Idk, maybe the lighting.
Also, am I the one who's crazy, or do the models look different in the global version of the game compared to the Chinese client?

Thanks for letting me know that someone uploaded them.
And yes, for some reason people find some obscure versions of the models/outfits and then import them to KK, same happened with Juedge's Sakura mod, the outfit doesn't match anything, so it's maybe some prerelease version or I don't know, but I checked in the game, then official MMD models from the international website and then from the official Chinese account and all of them were identical (I'm actually using the Chinese MMD models as a reference btw).

The one in the image seems to be fine, it matches the chinese MMD model:

After checking it in the game I see what's the problem, so basically to fix the clipping issues the outfit was made much wider around hips.
Another problem is not visible underwear through the transparent clothes which can be easily fixed by changing the render queue value.
Overall the mod is not bad (body proportions obviously are not matching those from the game, but that's "normal"), but not great either, overall Juedge's mod is much more accurate, but it has some insane clipping issues and that makes it quite useless.
The hair shader is decent.

As for improving it I'm not sure, probably not, or not anytime soon (that might change once she is released in the international version, just like I didn't really plan to do anything with Sakura).
The next card that I'll probably modify my way is Soppo which will be released on the chinese server soon, then I bet someone will make a mod for KK, but if I decide to upload it when I'm done with it then after 1-3 weeks.

And I'm still fixing all the GF2 cards that I posted here. The clipping issues are fixed, but I want to improve the textures around the neck. Juedge's headmods are split into two parts and that really messes with lots of stuff and makes it look not that great.
If everything goes well I'll update all of them in the next 3-5 days

In the Material Editor (Clothes, body), or something related to the Studio?
In case of clothes or body probably yes, in case of Studio it's quite problematic since GFL2 has a much more advanced shading/lighting.

Aww man. Well even if it's not a 1:1 recreation (yet 😉), I'd like to know if there's any scene or settings you use to get it as close as possible. At least based on the posts you make, it already looks amazingly close. Definitely the environment and map is something I also want to recreate with the textures and lighting, but just the characters having the shaders nearly looking like the game is enough for me. Because the scenes I have somehow don't look like yours, but yours is cleaner and closer to the original. So I figured that it might have something to do with your scene settings.

I just want to know if you know some kind of shader settings or post processing effects that can get it to look like it. I think I can use Grafko's VSK94 as a possible example of getting as close as possible. I'm not sure if he makes the scenes himself or he uses someone else scenes.

I'm sorry for the poor ass image quality on the right, but I don't own her in my account so I just got it from a video. Anyways, seeing how it can look like this, maybe it is possible to replicate at least the exported image. Maybe 😅

For me, what's important is the final export of the image even if it doesn't look like it in studio. But I just wanted to hear your thoughts and if you have something that could be it. You're the closest one that I see that could possibly mimic this so any resource you can give me I'll greatly appreciate man 🙏

A good start would be downloading xukmi FX shaders mod from there:

Then enable KK_PostProcessingEffects mod (4.5 is the last version I think) which should be included in the HF Patch
In the game it's called PostProcessingEffectsV3 4.5
You need to bind two buttons to enable it, the _Switch button and _OpenGUI

You might also want to get yourself the Save_PostProcessingEffects 0.1 mod

Then when you had them both enabled load this scene:
It's that one above
But once you load it that will give you some idea how that stuff works

If I'm not wrong the postprocessingeffects settings can be saved into the scene card

All cards in the first post got updated

Changes:
Suomi:
Fixes for the two default outfits

Suomi, Papasha, Sakura:
Some adjustments to the legwear in Dorm outfit

Sakura:
Replaced the headmod (all the author names are in the "credits" file), it's not a huge mess anymore

TMP:

All cards:
Fixed the issues with clipping body through the legwear
Changed the neck related shader and textures to make it look less off when compared to the body texture
Some minor fixes to the body proportions

And I replaced almost all images in the first post since there are some noticeable differences.

Thanks to @Xtrada for sending me the Sakura's headmod.

The next that I'm going to add will probably be Soppo card.

I updated all the cards again, I noticed that the neck was messed up in some way in all of them, should be fixed now.
It still feels off in some cases, but I won't be changing that for now.

Edit 2.
I'll most likely update all the cards again to improve how everything around shoulders and neck looks like, but that will happen when I decide to add another card here.

Changes to other cards (all of them got updated):

All cards:
- the area around shoulders and neck should be much more consistent between all the card and have been improved in some way
- some head position adjustments

Basti:
- fixed the belt around the chest (not clipping through the clothes anymore)

Harpsy:
- Fixed some clipping issues in the default outfit
- Changed a few outfits

Lewis:
- Body changes (improvements from the Soppo's card)

I believe you mentioned that you didn't want to spam it considering you edit it often, but new stuff like this would be nice if it was enjoyed by a lot of people who just see the main thread. Since you mention where to see the change logs with where to get the changed cards with the post, it really isn't a constant upload thing so it's not spam at all. You put in a lot of effort in this so maybe y'know. Like why not right? 😅

BUT OF COURSE, I'll respect it as well if you choose not to. Nice edits as always chief! :cool:

Yeah, I did notice that people check only the main sharing thread, but I'm not sure if I should post them there, there's a higher chance that people who made the mods would go after me, but now barely anyone downloads these so I'm pretty much safe (the new Soppo card have been downloaded only 45 times by the time I posted this, much less compared to back then when I was posting in the main Sharing Thread).

And about the edits, in the most recent ones I don't really edit the clothes since Juedge started to get the colors right (so conversion of the base texture from the game to something that looks well in the game by adjusting the saturation and brightness), my edited out cards are more low effort compared to the first ones (Suomi/Papasha) because of that.
The most effort I put into that new Harpsy/TMP outfit (the one in the middle on the first post's screenshot), but it's still quite simple. It's 100% mine and based on the outfit from the first game.

Anyway, I'll wait for someone to share the Juedge's second outfit for Soppo:
so I can update my card

Then I'll be taking a longer break since I'm not that much interested in editing out anything else.
The only other ones that I could consider are Lainie and Vepley.

very nice, i love that you included some themed, appropriately colored custom costumes, not just outfits from the game.
especially since the devs won't give certain characters as many costumes lol.

eagerly awaiting the Soppo skin version.
If someone else uploads it in the main sharing thread then I'll probably add it.

Recently I have been checking for ways to improve the hair and I decided to switch the shader to KKUTS, so I wonder if I should apply this to every single card:

It's mostly the shading, but "KKUTS" also is better at displaying textures, so they are not so "pixelated" anymore compared to the default "Shader Forge/Main Hair" that all the cards are using right now (with two exceptions, Soppo uses KKUTS but without some improvements above and Sakura is made to look exactly like default shader)

So should I apply the new (KKUTS) one?

And I also decided that I'm going to add 3 more cards in the near future, most likely within next 2-3 weeks.
I barely started to work on them, so they are in quite rough state, I only applied the body proportions for now, but that will have some adjustments as well, I'll obviously also change the head and cloth textures a little bit later.
I'll upload all 3 cards at the same time when they are done

Personally I prefer using KKUTS. For one it's a lot more versatile when I compose with lighting in Studio on top of just looking nicer overall.

That's fair, so I'll probably replace all the hair shaders in every single card since it's really easy now because of that "Clipboard" feature for the Material Editor.

But I'll probably keep using the default Shader Forge for the clothes for now, so far I have been using KKUTS for the body only (along with tessellation), underwear in some cases and any kind of legwear.

Well, this forum really helped me to get all the zipmods, so why not upload all the edited cards as well
I just hope that the actual people who make paid cards won't go after me anytime soon, but I guess every time I add another card here it increases the chance of that happening

Yes, I was going to take a break, but then someone sent me some headmods for the cards that I wanted to make long time ago, so I'll be adding a few more.
Also I think I'll be adding P90 once she's out (and once someone uploads the zipmod to the sharing topic).

Thanks for the Soppo outfit, I'll add it to my card and then upload it next time I decide to update all the cards and that should happen with 1 week most likely

So Sharkry + Vepley (without one outfit) + Lainie + changed hair shader for every single card + some zipmod related fixes, so fixed "normals" for one of the Suomi's outfits (specifically this one, you can see that reflections are not so "broken" anymore) and hair in the other ones + and minor corrections for a few cards

Hey, I hope you don't mind me asking for help, I am trying to change iris positions using the hitomi sliders, but they don't seem to do anything with your character card. I'm new to scene editing, so I apologize if this is a really basic question.

- There's small issue with its default outfit, so if something bad happens just reload the card or remove all clothes and put them on again, it's related to the skirt_root_top bone, its value will also reset itself if you try to save the card sometimes

An update of all cards that should fix the issues with many different poses (sitting etc.) and weird stretching of the body parts (legs or lower waist for example)

Based on the juedge's zipmods
(both use a little bit changed zipmods compared to the original ones, so it's recommended to replace existing ones if you have them)

Changes:

Vepley, Sharkry, Lainie
- Changed the face texture a little bit (I updated two of them some time ago, but didn't post anything about changes)

Suomi / Papasha
- Fixed shading (normal map changes) on one of the swimming suit outfits

Papasha
- Fixed the issue with the eyes being rendered in a wrong way through the hair (still far from perfect because of the less than perfect headmod)
- Fixed hair issue with the render queue

Other (All cards):
- Some adjustments to the blushing texture in the majority of cards (except for Suomi, Papasha and for some reason it doesn't want to work with Sharkry's headmod either)
- Changed the waist area in all cards, I noticed that there were some huge issues when each of edited out cards was in sitting pose (or something similar) in Studio, should be fixed now (editing cf_s_waist02's vertical scale is a bad idea).
- Fixed weird looking legs while the character is in sitting pose, should look less weird now, all cards were updated
- Improvements to the upper torso, decreased the thickness in a few spots to make it closer to the original models from GFL2, there are also a few changes to the shoulders and arms position, all cards were updated
