a lot of these mods i found simply via a search engine, which is where i'd suggest you to look first. most of the time, simply googling the mod name should be enough to find what you need. some commonly requested mods from creators like A-fan and EveKaczmarek have dedicated archives where they're easy to find, such as their websites or other file sharing sites like the ones i just gave you. others on the forum have shared some of these archives like Zero34 and TransientEntity in a concise post

searching here in the forums is not a bad idea either, as obscure or paid mods get uploaded often. pqjszasrrd recently uploaded his mod collection which you can use to find over 224gb worth of mods, i'd highly recommend bookmarking his post to refer to it whenever you need it
