NHM modifies the cards he resells so it looks like his work, when in reality it's basically a reskin of stolen property. Think of it like GTA V where you steal someone's car, send it to the dealer, and sell it for profit. That's what NHM is doing, the bare minimum to look just slightly off but never enough to fully hide it.
