Depending what you mean by essential, and if you mean Mods and not Plugins.
When you install a pack, either HF Patch or BetterRepack, you should have a program called KKManager. This lets you download/update any normally used mods from the Sideloader Modpack, but not mods created by card makers for specific characters and scenes.
If it's your first time updating directly from KKManager, this can take awhile as the downloader is a bit slow.
If you mean Plugins, which modify the studio features themselves, most are found on the Koikatsu discord, with details there on what they do.

-Base essential mods are already on the base game, if you want to be a little further: betterrepack, HP and whatever pack you find out.
-Community mods on KKmanager (almost 99% of the mods you may need in order to use >2020 content) which you will end up download regardless.
-Specific mods from specific things (cards, scenes, textures, etc, etc...) you have to search them as manually, we still do not have an actual downloader like that, would be nice to have one, but would be needed to be outside studio, due to how studio works, unless somebody redo the whole engine. Sadly there's not "drag and drop" mod alike or downloader inside studio, and again, would be nice to have.

I'm going through a bit of depression on my end, and I'm experiencing hard burn out on card archiving. I will be a little inactive for some time. I will lurk here on occasion to like posts and save stuff I'm actually interested in. maybe next month or month after I buy some stuff. I had some medical bills come in so I'm broke. like, digging in the pantry depths and finding food that expired in 2023 broke.

Its no wonder I can't find some of the cards, more specifically the ones missing in the timeline gap at Nov 2024. I'm starting to believe none of the gooners here don't actually have those missing Suou cards which is surprising considering all the leaks in this thread. 😆But its only a matter of time before someone shoots their shot and leaks the missing cards.
I feel the gap in the timeline 😩
