you probably missing textures, normal maps, reflection maps. Try selecting any character you want to look like yours, extract its textures one by one, then import in to your character (probably gonna have to restart the scene). You can also just use "copy edits" in material editor, and paste it on to your character, but it sometimes break things.

cards texture are mostly 4k, he even animates smallest detail, imageplate as well as color shadow are of higher texture, scene are longer and have many animated nodes so unless u have 16gb ram and a good cpu(i7-i9) u will be bottleneck

i might not know yur main problem since there is no screenshot,just take this as a 5050 fix solution if its your character not looking as one from main scene
1. Ctrl+i>cf_height(select the charatcer u want to swap)> disable
2.select the character that u prefer. ctrl+p
3. add light>D Mod Map
