Hi i've made many surface level questions in this community before, now i wanted to know how to edit a UV map and object from the material maker to turn them into a piece of clothing, or create a new piece of clothing for the game. The idea essentially is turning an object from KK studio into a piece of clothing for the character maker. The KK studio object in question would be this:

I want to turn this into a top, so its arms and legs can still follow animations in KK studio.
do i need to download a separate app to turn this into clothes? if so which? i am clueless in this stuff but im willing to learn how to do it.

I don't know how to make mods for KK, but I think the easiest approach would be to search online for the model in a ready to use format such as .fbx, .obj, etc. Then using Blender, seperate the model into parts and export each part. You can use the AssetImport plugin to import the exports into Studio or Character Maker. I've never used the tool but I imagine you can then use each part as an attachment for a character.
Although this may not necessary be the result you want. The model would have multiple seams and parts like arms and legs won't have deformations when animations are applied.

this model was downloaded from the mega link available in this pixiv post: https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/128579753
i think i already have the model, so i'd just need to download blender and learn it to turn into a piece of clothing for the characters in the game. ill try it and see if it works, thanks for your help
